Happy Monday guys! I’m back after a weekend of rest and relaxation in one of my favorite places, Key West. We packed up Friday night and made our way down through the bridges and islands until we made it to our campground. Yep, that’s right. We went camping! It’s great to get to spend as much time as possible outside during this time of the year. It’s rare in South Florida that we get chilly nights, so camping was really a fun way to go. We enjoyed a killer dinner at Onlywood Trattoria (post on that meal comin’ your way soon) drank our fair share of negroni’s, and swam as much as possible!
After 3 days of paradise however, I’m back in the office scheduling out the next few months worth of travels and events. This time of year is very busy in Miami and Im excited to share a look at some of the cool stuff I end up doing with all of you. On my radar current is the Taste of Tennis and South Beach Food and Wine Festival. For Taste of Tennis, I’ll be attending the opening night hosted by Citi Bank. I’m super excited to check out some of the talent at this years event, plus you get to eat with some serious Tennis Superstars! If you happen to be in Miami during this event and want to check it out, you can buy tickets here.
Also on the radar is a trip back to New Orleans! I’m turning 30 this year and when Jamie told me that we could eat anywhere for my birthday dinner, I chose Bayona. We will be heading there the first week in June to chow down on some good Nola grub and enjoy another one of our most favorite cities. I’ll keep you posted on those travel details as they unfold.
I hope you all have an exciting and productive week. I’ll be back shortly with an update on our drool worth wood oven meal at Onlywood Trattoria!
