Pumpkin Dark Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

I love discovering new food blogs and websites almost as much as discovering new recipes. It keeps me constantly motivated and inspired to try more! Thanks to Glitter Guide, I recently stumbled across this amazing Pumpkin Dark Chocolate Chip Ice Cream recipe from Freutcake and completely fell in love. It’s not quite fall weather here in Las Vegas yet, so this is a great way to get in the mood even when its 90 degrees out!

What you’ll Need:

1 1/2 cups (375 ml) whole milk
1 cup (250 ml) heavy cream
1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons (95 g) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon freshly-grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 teaspoon freshly-ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
5 large egg yolks
1/4 cup packed (60 g) dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons brandy
1 cup dark chocolate chips- chopped
3/4 cup (180 g) canned pumpkin puree (100% pure)

Freutcake is definitely going to be in my rotation from now on. I love author Leah’s perspective when it comes to photographing her recipes and how she explains everything. I mean just look at that detail! So gorgeous. For the full Pumpkin Dark Chocolate Chip Ice Cream instructions just head on over to Leah’s site and let me know how it turns out!
