Last Sunday night marked our 4th Sunday Night Supper with the MTO Cafe team and as expected, it turned out to be another great evening! This months theme #MURICA featured a different twist on the normal supper series agenda. MTO’s Chef Johnny took the reins with longtime friend and partner Eduardo ‘Lalo” Saavedra and created an exciting tasting menu for everybody to experience together. The evening started off with chicken wings, duck spring rolls and a few other bite sized appetizers, then moved into a 4 course tasting menu which consisted of an amazing heirloom tomato salad, shrimp ceviche, and a killer bean dish appropriately titled The Killer B’s (bacon, bourbon, beef and beer). To go along with this fun meal, we enjoyed beverages from Las Vegas’s own Tenya Creek Brewery, then Aaron Bayliff of STK rounded off the night with two awesome desserts, a buttermilk panna cotta and an old fashion rootbeer float! Whether it’s a Sunday night supper, weekend brunch or late afternoon lunch MTO Cafe is always the place to go. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next time!
