Hey guys! I’m back today after a whirlwind few weeks of traveling and tradeshows to share a fun dinner at HOT’s Kitchen in Hermosa Beach. I spent last weekend in Cali for Drink Eat Play’s Annual LA Beer Fest and had the pleasure of checking out this cute spot while I was there. HOT’s Kitchen has just about everything you could ask for from a beachside restaurant in LA; a huge beer selection, super fresh food, and very reasonable prices. Here’s a look at what we spent the evening snacking on, and what I would recommend trying out!

Our Menu:

BURRATA bruleed asian pear, arugula, salty candy walnuts, maple pear vinaigrette

PRETZEL LOAVES housemade beer cheese sauce, whole grain mustard (from the tasting menu)

FRIED CHICKEN Taco mashed potato, cornbread nuggets, gravy

SHRIMP TEMPURA Taco avocado, enoki mushrooms, green onions, unagi sauce, chili-aioli, sesame seeds

CUBANO Taco swiss cheese, ham, mustard aioli, pickles

Highlights: The fried chicken taco was literally out of this world. We decided to share a few different ones, and only ended up picking that one to round out the meal. It was some of the best fried chicken I have ever tasted and I probably could have eaten about 5 more! The pretzel tower was also a thing of beauty. It came with a fabulous cheese sauce and some spicy mustard which is basically heaven while sipping a cold beer. The atmosphere of this place is really great, I loved the communal style tables and being surrounded by hundreds of beer taps. It was trendy but relaxed at the same time – my favorite combo!

Originally we had a few other places in mind to eat dinner, but they all ended up having a 60+ min wait. I was really glad we ended up here and would definitely stop by again!
