Since moving to Las Vegas almost exactly a year ago this week, Honey Salt has become top of my list to take all my out of town guests and friends to. It’s just one of those places you can count on for a solid meal, great service, and the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. After a whirlwind 24 hours in LA my dad and I were very excited to get back to Las Vegas. We took a drive out around Red Rocks then headed over to Honey Salt for dinner. Besides for a particular brunch, this dinner might have been our best HS experience yet!
Grilled Octopus – 16 romesco sauce, patatas bravas, shaved celery
Elizabeth’s Cesar – tuscan kale & romaine, black garlic dressing, parmesan
Shrimp & Linguini – spinach, roasted garlic, light tomato sauce
Mary’s Free Range Brick Oven Chicken – kale & anaheim pepper mac n’ cheese, natural jus
Brookie – “inspired by baked in brooklyn” chocolate chip cookie meets chocolate fudge brownie, with salted caramel chunk ice cream (must have)
I never have any complaints about this place. Every single meal (which has been quite a few at this point) that I’ve had here has been better than the next. I’m lucky enough to live pretty close and have attended a few of their Monday night Farm Table Dinners and their special Sunday Brunch! I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it – a meal here is 100% worth the drive out from the strip or wherever you may be in Las Vegas. I was really excited to finally bring my dad here and can’t wait to stop by again!
