Today I wanted to share another look at my recent trip to Disneyland. You already got my NOLA filled night out at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen and next up after this post will be an incredible account of my evening with Chef Andrew Sutton at Napa Rose… but for now, Dessert at the Hearthstone Lounge! Hearthstone is the fireside lounge at Disneylands premier Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. It is cozy, impeccably decorated, and a great place to relax after hours and hours of walking around the parks. We stopped in late one night after our last ride on Space Mountain to enjoyed a few of their signature desserts; and thoroughly enjoy them we did!
“Robusto” Flatbread topped with Chorizo de Bilbao, Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Burrata Cheese, and Romesco Sauce (not pictured above but an absolute must try!!)
Red Velvet Push-Pop with Cream Cheese Frosting and Chocolate Coated Puffed Rice
Warm Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce
The prices here at Hearthstone are higher than most you will see in the Downtown Disney area, but for the atmosphere and quality of food after a long day on your feet – nothing really beats this experience. I would definitely stop back and try a few different things next time, but make sure to checkout that Red Velvet Pop, it was the highlight of dessert for me!
