Happy Monday guys! Keeping with tradition girls night is usually a great excuse to get together with you friends, drink a bunch of wine, eat cheese and crackers and basically just chow down on all your favorite naughty foods. This past weekend however a few of my girls and I decided to break the cycle. Instead of ooey gooey cheesy nachos, we opted for a fun healthy Apple Nachos recipe from Clair at Peak 313, and it turned out great!
What you’ll Need:
1-4 apples (depending on how many will be eating)
Toppings: (choose stuff you like!)
– Hershey’s Spreads in Chocolate Flavor
– Chocolate Chips
– Jif Almond Butter
– Sliced Almonds
– Low Fat Melted Caramel
We opted for a few difference sauces (pictured above) with a good old helping of chocolate chips. This was a great way to kick off our meal and we actually ended up eating it for both an appetizer than more for dessert. I’m not going to lie and say we didn’t drink a ton of wine along with these healthy little nachos, but hey it was girls night!
