Friday Sangria


One of my favorite ways to end the week is with fun cocktails. I tend to stick to wine during the week, but come Friday all bets are off. This week I wanted to share this great recipe for Sangria. It’s a perfect way to kick off your weekend and can be adjusted to fit any season with the right fruits!

What you’ll Need:
1/2 cup brandy
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup frozen lemonade concentrate
1/3 cup orange juice
1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry red wine
1/2 cup triple sec
1 lemon, sliced into rounds
1 orange, sliced into rounds
1 lime, sliced into rounds
1/4 cup white sugar (optional)
8 maraschino cherries
2 cups carbonated water (optional)

Another great thing about this recipe is how versatile the ingredients and serving sizes are. You can totally customize your recipe based on the number of guests you have, and their tastes. For a darker fall sangria double your brandy serving and cut your triple sec in half. For a lighter more summery sangria, substitute red wine for white!
