e baldi, Beverly Hills

Only being in LA for one day/night, we had to make it count. After a small lunch at Robbie Macs, we ventured down to Beverly Hills for some sight seeing and shopping. Then off a recommendation from a friend, we wrapped up the evening at e baldi for an incredible Northern Italian dinner. I don’t know if it was all the walking or that Cali heat, but we ate so fast I didn’t even have time to snap a picture of half the dishes!

Our Menu:

Burrata with basil pesto and roasted tomatoes

Sweet corn agnolotti, mascarpone, truffle butter (pictured)

Spinach and ricotta gnudi, butter emulsion (pictured)

Pan fried dover sole al limone (pictured)

Breaded lamb chops alla Milanese (pictured)

Butterscotch rum pudding, salted caramel

Cherry Pie

We also enjoyed two different years of the Bricco Rocche Barolo (2005 and 2008) which ended up being one of the best wines I’ve ever tasted. For being such a trendy place in Beverly Hills our wait was not long and the service was excellent. It was a little pricey in the end, but definitely worth it for the fast service and really great flavors. The sole was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had and the cherry pie at the end was such a delight! I’ll definitely have to drop by again at some point!
