Hi guys! Today I wanted to talk a little bit about me time, and a few ways I like to spoil myself. I’ve had a job since I was 16 years old. I worked full time through college and have always put a lot of emphasis on my career. I’ve gotten a lot of questions over the years as to how I balance everything I do, and what keeps me going. Well, I’m going to let you in on a little secret today! I love to spoil myself. Not in major ways, don’t get me wrong here. I’m not going out and buying a new Louis Vuitton handbag every time I need a pick me up. It’s the little things that count for me.
When it comes to spoiling myself these days, one of my favorite things is to get out of work and pick up a few of my favorite cocktail making supplies. Normally I keep a few bottles of wine on hand, but there’s something about a fresh cocktail that makes you feel special! My go to? A greyhound made with Absolut Elyx. In today’s case, even better. I was lucky enough to team up with Absolut to share with you their incredible single estate copper crafted luxury vodka, Elyx! Now if you know me, you know how much I love copper anything. So you can just imagine my reaction when I received these stunning pieces of stemware in the mail! It’s the ultimate luxury.
What makes Absolut Elyx different than the rest? One word, copper. For the perfect raw spirit for Exyx, the Absolut distillers use maximum contact with copper in a process called copper catalyzation. It’s pretty interesting! Even cooler than that is the use of a vintage copper still from 1921 which is hand operated to make this fine spirit. I have to say, I’ve been drinking Absolut Vodka for a long time, but am now so glad to have more insight into the brand. Absolut even donates a week’s worth of safe drinking water to those in need through a partnership with Water for People, for every bottle sold in the US. If this isn’t an amazing reason to go out today and treat yourself to a bottle I don’t know what is! Also you’ll want to head on over to the entire Elyx Boutique to check out how you can get some of this stunning copper stemware for yourself!
